Things I’m Loving Thursday

After a week of being sick, I’m finally on the mend. I’m bummed that I was out of commission for the holiday weekend. I missed out on a trip to our county fair with our niece – I haven’t been to the fair in close to a decade. No big corn on the cob for me this year.

Luckily, I’m getting better just in time!

I’m loving the return of Badger Football!

Jason and I are super excited for our second year as Badger Football season ticket holders! Saturday is the first home game this season. Despite a disappointing loss last weekend, we have high hopes for the season.

I’m loving camper shopping!

It’s sad that Jason and I haven’t been camping in close to 4 years! Our last trip was a long weekend at Peninsula State Park with Bailey in 2010 (read here, here, and here).

One of the things holding us back is the sheer inconvenience of it. All of our gear is stored in our narrow-staircase basement. Because we don’t want to camp without the dogs and they take up the full back seat in our vehicle, we need to borrow my father-in-law’s small trailer. Finally, we both have to take off a full day or at least half a day in order to get anywhere good and set up the tent before dark.

We’ve been chatting here and there for a couple of years about investing in a camper, something we can just hook up and go at the end of a work week. Because of what our vehicle can tow, our options are limited (which, honestly, has been kind of helpful). We’re seriously considering a PaloMini travel trailer.

I’m loving my camper Pinterest board!

Since we’ve started seriously looking at campers, I’ve been a camper-idea-pinning maniac! I’ve pinned spacing-saving tips, dishes I want to buy, and decorating ideas. I would be going for a cozy, classic camp vibe inside, like this rustic Airstream:
